"You always judge good food by the atmosphere!"™ by Backyard Kitchen Designer of the year 2016 John Bowen
We specialize in helping homeowners or small entrepreneurs increase the value and beauty of their homes or selling these great and fun jobs with elegant outdoor living spaces. We have created beautiful yard designs for 38 years and now we can help the DIY homeowner, contractor, or lawn maintenance company branch into building a backyard paradise on a budget with the best quality materials and appliances available in the market.
Our company purchased a Stonemaker™ and ClifRock™ dealership to give our customers the best in backyard landscape designing.. We now have been successful enough to be chosen to give individuals (small one man contractors, landscape designers, or homeowners) the ability to buy all the supplies needed to assemble their own outdoor kitchen, fire pits, and much more for your DIY resort backyard!
Our products can not be bought at the local pool, landscape nursery or garden depot stores. We have the best patent and proprietary materials known on the market. Some of our products are actually going "military grade" and structurally speaking it bewilders the engineers and contractors doing it the "university ways". Our concrete and building processes are the strongest and quickest. The results are nothing less than "RESORT QUALITY".
After choosing your layout or space configuration you will end up with lengths of how long each section should be. Try to work with 5 feet, 7.5. feet, 10 feet lengths, or custom (more expensive).
There are gas (both bottle or natural) and charcoal. Then you could have things like: drop in cooler, usually a set of access doors under the cooking appliance, a refrigerator, a side burner, a smoker, or a pull-out ice chest, and others.
Your new outdoor kitchen will be made out of superior proprietary concrete which will last forever. You will not need all the extra costs for steel framing kits or wood framing like 99% of other kitchen designers. You will need to choose from: 1. Ledge stone 2. Dry stack 3. Cliff Stone 4. Cut stone 5. Random rock or 6. River rock
Colors are very custom no matter which "simple base line" you use. But, the three (gray, tan, and brown) for the southern regions are typically used. The color can highlight your existing house colors and add a beautiful outdoor setting to your home or work.

Big projects can be broken into phases and with the proper planning the outdoor of your dreams can be a reality with less spent. So, think big and plan smart and you can also have a resort quality outdoor setting with practical planning.
This is a U-shpaed design; but, on the left side the added feature of a bar style has been added. There are a few other options but this is the majority of the design layout choices.
This is the most typical. This might be a phase 1 installation where you come back and add the L-shape or even the other side to the "galley bar" design.
Here are some added dimensions to get your vision more visual and help you get your measuring tape out. Take a piece of paper and start with the area and maybe cut out some paper and move the pieces around to visualize.
This layout begins with lots of space. If the extra appliances break your budget with this design build it for the counter space and come back later to install the appliances in phase2.
This usually demands the most open area. However, other times it helps with occupying wall spaces that would be hard to accommodate friendly seating.
Custom designs are much more difficult for the DIY. But, don't lose focus thinking it can't be done. We have done some crazy things and they usually are first timers for us also. If it is what you want design it and we can help if needed.
Not engineered for safety and durability.
Relies on gravity or at best glue.
May require a footer below the frost line.
Difficult to customize or retrofit.
No flexibility with appliances.
Aesthetic quality and limited storage if any.
Expensive and takes a lot of time and a tremendous amount of experience. It requires a footing. It is difficult to retrofit and storage is even harder to add or retrofit. The property is usually destroyed with dumped sand and materials for days.
The materials are not rated for outdoors!!
It has questionable durability, and the weather from hot to freezing and thawing is horrible on these things! Moisture alone is destructive to these types.
Super expensive!! The industrial indoor aesthetics is not usually optimal for many people. These are vulnerable to dents, and scratching and the wear on the finish is not at all desireable.
Again, very expensive. They are basically plastic which is not at all like concrete to the sun. They do not like the cold environments (even just a month of winter).
Most are made in China. Super cheap construction and again vulnerable to the cold weather conditions. The UV destroys plastics and they have a tendency to just erode.
Outdoor kitchens gone WRONG!
We can make your kitchen and you take it home and put it together in one day. There is nothing on the market that is faster, better looking, stronger, more durable, weather resistant, UV resistant, made in the USA, flexible with storage and appliance installations, less labor intensive, customizable, colorable, aesthetically pleasing, and almost bullet proof in the world. Guess what? Our fire pits, fire places, and pizza ovens are built the same way. Superi

5. River Rock (as featured to the right).
There are several companies trying to duplicate this proprietary concrete mix and single "panel construction' that was invented in 1994 by David Montoya. A US patent was applied for and many are trying to copy.
No need in re-inventing this wheel. We are a licensed dealer for "Coyote". Go to their website for all the details:
www.Coyoteoutdoor.com. We will get you your pricing and will have it ready when you pick up the other materials. It will be a turn key system that you can DIY.

What kind of strength does styrofoam have? How long will the 1/4" stucco finish stick to this stuff? It no doubt can look good; but why? There is a MUCH BETTER ALTERNATIVE!
This is strong enough to set a tank on top of it. It is a mountain waterfall constructed out of a proprietary 9,000 psi GFRC mix.
